About Me
I am the biological child of a teen mom who chose adoption when she unexpectedly found herself pregnant at the age of 15. I was adopted at birth and blessed with a rare and unique opportunity to maintain a meaningful relationship with my birth mother, Shannon and her family. I have an older sister, Codi, who has a similar story to myself. My parents, Nancy and Ira, have offered me endless support & love while also being a large inspiration for me as they both work in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation for differently-abled individuals.
After high school I did some traveling and studied Psychology for a short time in Hawaii, then moved to Phoenix AZ and became pregnant at the age of 20. Through both literature and my connection with my Birth Doula, Sarah, my passion for reproductive health was born! I achieved an un-medicated intervention-free hospital birth in 2021 with my son Storm and after the fact suffered from Postpartum Depression.
My experience with an unexpected pregnancy, a postpartum mood disorder and navigating single motherhood furthered my interest in reproductive health, women’s rights and patient advocacy. Being a mother and supporting others in their journey through pregnancy and birth are my two biggest joys in life.
I am a certifying Birth Doula through DONA International and have completed my childbirth education and Doula Training. I am here as a support for any birthing person along with their partners and families regardless of economical status, race, gender identity and sexuality. I also offer support and advocacy for adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents.

I have a standard rate for my services but offer sliding scale costs and payment plans for low-income individuals as well. As a Birth Doula, I am not a clinical care provider. I am here to offer support through pregnancy and birth and be in attendence to help support you in physical comfort measures, emotional obstacles and help advocate for you in a medical setting. Some nurses and midwives have Doula Training separate from their medical training, however I am not certified to perform medical procedures.

I urge all of my clientele to reach out to their insurance company and see if they offer Doula service coverage. Starting in July 2024 Colorado Medicaid will cover up to $1,500 in Doula Services and I plan on accepting Medicaid clients. I can also accept payments through HSA’s.
